Adrianne Van Meer and Benjamin Goodrich were united in marriage on July 29, 2006, at Aspen Grove in Shevlin Park at Bend. The Rev. Robert Stern, uncle of the bride, officiated. The groom's father, Robert Goodrich, offered the first blessing and prayer for the newly married couple. The bride is the daughter of Sandy and Malcolm Van Meer of Astoria. The groom is the son of Robert and Laurel Goodrich of Baker City. The bride's attendants were Sara Goodrich, Bryanna Cunningham, and Jessica Johnson. Nathan Goodrich, Dan Goodrich, Taylor Van Meer and Jeremy Schulz stood up for the groom. Ellie Goodrich and Ian Goodrich, niece and nephew of the groom, scattered petals for the pathway to the altar. Stephanotis, gerber daisies, white roses, ivy, votive candles, and ribbons adorned the aisle. Honored guests were Esther Stern of Chico, Calif., the bride's grandmother, and Laurie and Cora Woodworth of Baker City, and Millie Goodrich of Yakima, Wash., the groom's grandparents. The couple honeymooned at Lake Tahoe. They reside in Bend. |
