Baker City Golf Board to meet

The Baker City Golf Board will meet Friday morning for its regular monthly session.

The  meeting will begin at 8 o'clock in Room 205 at Baker City Hall, 1655 First St.

Items on the agenda include:

• Management update

 • Course report

• Cart house painting

• Driving net construction plans

• Asphalt to restroom

• Possible irrigation expansion of Hole No. 4

• Turf availability for No. 7 and No. 12 tee boxes and greens nursery

• Trees (planting and removal planning)

The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center near Baker City will play host to an episode of  TLC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” tonight at 9 o’clock. 

The actor Kelsey Grammer will explore his genealogy and find that his ancestors journeyed West on the Trail.

Shooting for the episode took place in May, when Grammer and a small filming crew from Los Angeles arrived at the center.
