To the editor: The 2008 Elkhorn Classic was wonderful, and speaking for the riders I just wanted to thank the community, all the organizers, volunteers, and officials for making this event so great. I can't begin to imagine all the hard work and effort that went into making this a first-class race. Great job! We really enjoyed our stay in Baker City. Everywhere we went we met friendly people who obviously know how lucky they are to live in such a beautiful place. Dave Caplan Bend |
