Country music legend lost

To the editor:

Yet again we lose another legend. Bill Freeze of Bill Freeze and the Heaters, well known to the country music family from Nashville to Baker City, will be greatly missed by all who had the great honor to get to play music with him. Also those that come from far and near to listen to magic of his finger-pickin rockabilly tunes at the Eagles and at the Jam sessions. I'll never forget the time I played with Bill at Roy's Place in Imnaha. You could hear his guitar licks echo through the canyons of the northeastern mountains.

You will be missed, Bill.
