Ranchers must protect livestock

To the editor:

As I read Lillian Terry’s note to the editor April 24 regarding the issue in the Keating area of two wolves killing 23 lambs, two ewes and one calf, I feel compelled to say I too feel it is not wise to trap, collar and turn those wolves loose again.

Ranchers and farmers should be free to kill predators that kill their livestock, chickens, llamas, etc., whether cougars, wolves, coyotes, whatever threaten their very living, or their lives.
