Making a bad situation good To the editor: While traveling from British Columbia to Arizona recently my husband and I experienced problems with our truck in Baker City. The assistance and friendliness we experienced was outstanding. There are so many people to thank, from a couple living on Main Street, to a group of young people who helped push the truck to the roadside to Gentry Ford. That dealership towed us to their establishment, located a new alternator, installed it and had us on our way within an hour. We could not believe the great service. Baker City should be very proud of all the wonderful people that live there. Thank you so very much. You made a bad situation into a very good one and we cannot thank you enough.
