Library parking space appreciated
Library parking space appreciated

To the editor: On behalf of the Baker County Committee on Disabilities, I would like to thank Perry Stokes of the Baker County Library for allowing the library parking lot to be designated a handicap parking lot for Miners Jubilee weekend. For several years now, the library has offered this service to our community and it greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank the city for supplying barricades and handicap parking signs as well as the public for honoring the signs and reserving those spaces for people with handicap parking permits. Both days that I was at the park, the lot was full and every car had a permit. The designated parking lot allows so many people with mobility issues to access the park and festivities easier. Thank you to all that made this happen again this year! Lori Lien Baker City |
