Letters to the Editor for March 16, 2012
To the editor:
So — Jayson Jacoby becomes an apologist for Rush Limbaugh, whose latest “gaffe” (actual meaning is a social blunder) was nothing more than labeling a woman a slut and prostitute for daring to express her opinion in front of Congress. And gee, he apologized. Didn’t he? I assume then that one may call your wife or daughter those names and you would shrug it off as inconsequential.
And, of course, we should not question any presidential candidate on either Limbaugh or women’s reproductive health because it doesn’t affect you. Personally, I want to know how the candidates address these issues, as their answer reflects not only their leadership but their position on women’s rights. Shame on you for condoning Limbaugh’s hateful tirade.
