Lucky to have Smith in Salem

To the editor:

Let this letter serve as support for the election of Tim K. Smith to the Oregon House of Representatives, District 60, at the upcoming primary election of May 20.

Tim is an Oregon native, born and raised in the Hermiston area. Tim is also well-educated, especially on the issues that are important to Eastern Oregon and also the rest of the state.

Tim Smith has been real active in protecting our water rights and land-use issues.

I have known Tim since he came to Harney County and I admire the good he has done for Harney County.

Tim has served on the Oregon Republican Central Committee for several years. Considering Tim's education we are lucky to have a person of his quality and expertise to represent us in Salem at the Legislature or in many of the other areas as well.

Tim has the time and the ability to represent us in Salem and will do us a great job there.

Please consider voting for Tim Smith at the upcoming primary election.
