Toddler loved the sidewalk dots

To the editor:

I had to write in about the article on Friday's paper about the dots painted on the sidewalk. I think people need to think outside of the box and realize that it was a great idea and they painted that for the bike race that came through downtown. I have a son that will be two this August and let me tell you how much he loved that!

And I love to see that also because being an artist myself I appreciate when people come up with ideas that will open up kids minds, and expose them to artistic ideas. When we live in small rural communities I feel it is very important to mix things up a bit, not only for parents, but especially for the kids!
