More than 700 people attended the annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday in Geiser-Pollman Park. Children dashed for eggs filled with candy or even money in the form of regular currency or silver or gold dollars. The grand prize was won this year by Mason Ruberti, 4, who took home a white, 4-foot stuffed bear. He is the son of Marc and Tyra Ruberti of Baker City. The event is accomplished each year by donations from various volunteer organizations, businesses and individuals. |
