Closure order ends around Vinegar Fire
The area around the Vinegar Fire near Greenhorn that had been closed to the public for the past couple weeks is open to the public again.
This includes trails and roads.
Fire crews have corralled the lightning-sparked fire, which poses a potential threat to the historic town of Greenhorn at the far western edge of Baker County.
The Vinegar Fire has burned 1,351 acres, and is 45 percent contained. Just 28 firefighters are assigned to the blaze, down from 489 about a week ago.
