Kiwanis carnival Saturday

The annual carnival of the Baker City Kiwanis Club happens from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at South Baker Elementary, at Third and Grace streets. This event is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club and K-Kids, a Kiwanis-sponsored service club for sixth-graders. The carnival features face painting, cake walks, darts, bingo, a fish pond and a costume picture booth. There will also be a country store and raffle and silent auction items. The K-Kids are selling raffle tickets.All proceeds are used for the service projects conducted by the Kiwanis Club and the K-Kids. Service projects include the Parent Resource Fair, BHS Student of the Month, BHS Music programs and Summer Days. |
