ANNIVERSARY: The Carters

Elvin and Mary Jean Carter celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 1, and had a family celebration the next day at the Geiser Grand Hotel.

The Carters were married June 1, 1950, at Baker City. Their children are Tom and Dawn Carter, Jeanie and Wayne Ryder and Tony and Juls Carter. They have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
