Mike and Sandy Mitchell of Baker City are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this month.

The Mitchells were married June 16, 1982, in Susanville, Calif., where they lived before moving to Baker City 17 years ago. Mike has been employed by OTEC since then. Sandy has worked in the front office at Baker Sanitary since 1997.

The couple have two sons. Logan is a second-year student at Pacific University College of Optometry at Forest Grove. Casey is pursuing a career in physical therapy and is a quarterback for the Southern Oregon University Raiders football team at Ashland.

The couple will celebrate their anniversary with a small family dinner celebration hosted by their sons.
