Krista Nelson of Bandon and Travis Cook of Baker City have announced their plans to be married June 29, 2007, in Dallas, Ore.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Dee Nelson of Bandon. She is a 2001 graduate of Bandon High School and a 2005 graduate from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in animal sciences. She is pursuing a doctorate of veterinary medicine at Oregon State University.

Cook is the son of Michael and Cathy Cook of Baker City. He is a 2003 graduate of Baker High School. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in horticulture sciences with an emphasis in viticulture and enology. He will graduate in June of 2007 and seek employment as a vineyard manager.
