ENGAGEMENTS: Smith — Creason

Allison Lea Smith and Ryan Andrew Creason are engaged to be married Aug. 21, 2010, at 5 p.m. at the Adair Village Clubhouse outside of Corvallis.

Ken Watson will officiate. A reception will follow.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Stephen and Diana Smith of Wingville. She is a 2006 graduate of Burnt River High School, and graduated in June with a bachelor’s in biology from Oregon State University. She is pursuing a doctorate in molecular and cellular biology at OSU.

Creason is the son of Ken and Sondra Creason of Yamhill. He graduated from Yamhill-Carlton High School in 2003, and earned a bachelor’s in new media communications from Oregon State University in 2008. He is self-employed as a videographer.

They will live in Corvallis.
