Chelsa Nicole Ewing and Logan Thompson Mitchell are engaged to be married July 28, 2007.

The ceremony will be at 4 p.m. at Baker City Christian Church. Pastor Roger Scovil will officiate. There will be a reception afterward at the bride's home.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tom and Lynne Ewing of Baker City. She is a 2004 Baker High School graduate and is working toward a bachelor's degree in elementary education at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.

Mitchell is the son of Mike and Sandy Mitchell of Baker City. He is a 2003 Baker High School graduate and has earned a bachelor's degree in visual science and is a graduate student in the college of optometry at Pacific University.
