Engagement: Galyen-Theriault

Angela Galyen and Robert Theriault have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage on Dec. 15, 2007, in Baker City.

The bride-to-be was raised in Baker City, and graduated from Agape Christian School in 2000. She went on to attend Treasure Valley Community College, and then transferred to Eastern Oregon University and graduated in 2004 with a degree in education. She currently teaches fourth grade at Sunset Elementary School in Hermiston, and is also working toward a master's degree from Oregon State University.

Theriault was born in Oceanside, Calif., and raised all over the world. He graduated from Moanalua High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2001. He then attended Washington State University, majoring in business with a double minor in finance and human resources. He graduated in 2005, and was also commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army National Guard. He currenty works for Washington Group International as a human resources recruiter. He is also serving in the National Guard as a first lieutenant. He is working on an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

The couple will live in Hermiston after their wedding.
