Engagements: Fewkes — Baxter

Shere LaDawn Fewkes and Tyson Alexander Baxter are engaged to be married June 20, 2008, at the LDS temple in Boise.

A reception is planned for June 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Baker City LDS Church on Hughes Lane.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Debra Fewkes of Fruitland. She is a 2005 graduate of Fruitland High School and graduated from Treasure Valley Community College in 2008 with an associate's of pre-medicine. She is a certified nurse assistant at Royal Villa Assisted Living.

The groom is the son of Farel and Linda Baxter of Baker City. He is a 2005 graduate of Baker High School, and is currently enrolled at Treasure Valley Community College to study wildfire management and athletic training. He is a wildland fighter with the Payette National Forest.
