Amy Rapien and Kevin Uttenreuther ().

Amy Rapien and Kevin Uttenreuther are engaged to be married Aug. 24, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. at their garden in Baker City.

Dean Barnes will officiate, and a reception will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Community Connection.

They will honeymoon in Banff, Canada.

Rapien is the daughter of Stephen and Casey Rich of Sumpter. She is a 1992 graduate of Brookings Harbor High School and works as a community support specialist at Step Forward Activities.

Uttenreuther is the son of Bill and LaDonna Uttenreuther of Baker City. He is a 1987 graduate of Baker High School. He works as a railroad superintendent for Loram Maintenance of Way.
