Natalie Olsen and Michael Smucker have announced their engagement, and are planning to wed July 12, 2008.

The ceremony will be at 1 p.m. at the Deschutes County Expo Center in Redmond. Pastor Aaron of Desert Song Community Church will officiate. A reception will follow at the same location.

The bride-to-be grew up in Baker City, and is the daughter of Don Olsen of Baker City and Katherine Haniford Olsen of Denver. She graduated from Central Oregon Community College with a degree in sociology, and plans to continue her education.

Smucker was raised in Junction City, and is the son of Doug and Bev Smucker. He attended Lane Community College for emergency medical technician training, and was a resident volunteer firefighter at the Junction City Fire Department for two years. He plans to continue his education.

Both currently live in Redmond and work for T-Mobile.
