Oregon State Police

On Interstate 84, about 10 miles north of Baker City at 1:56 p.m. Tuesday; a truck and semitrailer were traveling east on Interstate 84 when it went off the side of the freeway and rolled. Police said the driver, Ricky Jo Dyer, 62, and his passenger, Rhonda Lynn Dyer, 50, both of Benson, Arizona, were extricated from the vehicle. Both were taken by ambulance to St. Alphonsus Medical Center-Baker City. Information about their conditions was not available in time for this report. Ricky Dyer was cited on a charge of failing to maintain lane of travel.
