Shane Markle

Shane Markle, 44, of Huntington and a former Pendleton resident, died Aug. 7, 2010, while camping on Eagle Creek with his wife and friends.

At his request there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of his life at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Streamliner in Huntington.

Shane was an avid outdoorsman and was employed with the Union Pacific Railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Markle of Huntington; children, Tyler, Trina, Taghelor and Dallas; and parents, Mary and William Markle, and sister, Dana, all of Pendleton.
