Ginger Baird


Ginger Ann Baird, 25, of Portland, a former Baker City resident, died Aug. 7, 2009, at Providence Medical Center in Portland.

A memorial service for family and friends will be announced as soon as possible.

Flowers may be delivered to 1556 Chestnut St. in Baker City.

Ginger was born May 31, 19084, at Baker City, the oldest of five children and the only girl.

She lived in Baker City until she moved with her family to Hillsboro in 1999. She married Richard Reyes in 2007 and they had their daughter, Thomasina Judith Marie Reyes, on Feb. 5, 2007. She was a loving mother and wife, and a wonderful daughter.

Ginger will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

The family sincerely thanks all those who stood beside us, and for all your prayers. God bless you all.

Ginger is survived by her mother and stepfather, Annette and David Collins, and her father, Rodney Hindman, all of Baker City; her ex-husband, Richard Reyes and her 2-year-old daugher, Thomasina Reyes, of Portland; her son, Tyler Snell of Salem; her brothers, Dorrell Spence IV and Richard Whitmore of Baker City, Jason Whitmore of Tigard, and Henry Hoffmon of Big Piney, Wyo.; her uncles, Bodie Baird, Richard Baird, Ron Baird and David Baird, all of Baker City; and her aunt, Elizabeth Conklin of Boise.

Ginger was preceded in death by her son, David Baird, and a set of twins; her grandfather, David V. Baird; and her grandmothers, Flora Aguire and Ellen Roop.

Contributions to help pay for expenses may be made care of Annette Collins at 1556 Chestnut St., Baker City, OR 97814.
