Rae Moulton

Rae D. Moulton, 71, of La Grande, died Jan. 31, 2011, at Grande Ronde Hospital.

There will be a service later at Douglas Cemetery in Troutdale.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1939, at Baker City to Charles and Laura Manning Kirk. She was raised by her Aunt Laura “Nanny” Newton at Baker City.

She married Dale Ivan Moulton on Feb. 1, 1957, at Baker City. they moved to Gresham where she raised three boys, Mike, Brent and Scott, and a daughter, Michelle.

Rae was a housewife and cooked for outdoor school. She was a foster parent to several boys.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of the Baptist Church at Baker City.

Survivors include her children, Brent Moulton of La Grande, Scott Moulton of Gresham and Michelle Kuhnau of Fairview; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; and her son, Mike.

Loveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
