Marilyn Lines Marilyn Kay Lines, 63, of Baker City, died May 30, 2011, at her residence. Her funeral will be Saturday, June 4 at 10 a.m. at Loveland Funeral Chapel in La Grande. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Marilyn was born Aug. 31, 1947, at Ontario, Ore., daughter of Earle and Phyllis (Cowles) Kendall. She attended school in Heppner and Ukiah. After graduation, she attended Lane Community College in Eugene and earned her LPN in nursing. Michelle was married twice, to Jack Howe and Jon Lines. She enjoyed fishing and quilting. Marilyn is survived by her longtime companion, Chuck Thrasher of Baker City; and her children, Anthony Howe and his wife, Janelle, and Darin Howe, all of Woodburn; her siblings and their spouses, Janet and Barnhard Shodin of Dallas, Ore.; Margaret and Williard Arbogast of Pilot Rock, and Lucille and Kenneth Gilliland of Ukiah; eight grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jon Lines; her parents, Earle and Phyllis; and her grandparents, Marion and Iva Kendall and Everard and Jesse Cowles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marilyn to Shelter from the Storm, Union County domestic violence protection services, in care of Loveland Funeral Chapel. |
