Kember Smithhart-Hellman

Kember Lynn Smithhart-Hellman, 39, of Sweet Home, a former Baker City resident, died Feb. 19, 2010, at Sweet Home.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. March 27 at Harvest Church, 3720 Birch St.

Kember attended the Baker Valley Christian Assembly and Baker High School in 1994.

She loved her job as a victims advocate for May Day in 2002. She also worked for Baker House and at King’s and McDonald’s for a short time. She loved people and she loved helping them.

Her children and two grandchildren were the loves of her life, family members said. She also loved movies and music. Olivia Newton John and Stevie Nicks were among her favorites. And she loved her cans of Pepsi.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Smithhart; her mother, Sandra Bracken; her stepfather, Sidney Bracken; and stepmother, Carolyn Smithhart.    

Survivors include her son, Anthony, and his fiance, Teneasa, of Sweet Home; her daughters, Rhiannon and Sierra, both of Medford; her grandchildren, Abigail and Sarah; her brother, Kevin Wells of Medford, Kerry Smithhart of Walla Walla, Wash.; and Kent Smithhart of Medford; her sister, Kendra Smithhart of Medford; and numerous nieces; two nephews; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
