Obituaries for May 11, 2011

Donald Reilly “Don” Hinkle was born on Sept. 12, 1949, at Portland to Robert and Ladonna Hinkle. He was raised at Scappoose and attended school there. In later years the family moved to the home place at Richland on the Powder River. It was there that the community and travelers got to know Don, as he sold the produce that grew on the farm.

Don enjoyed fishing and looked forward to dropping a line in his favorite fishing spot, right behind the house.

Survivors include his brothers, Bob, Dick and his twin, Ron; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
