Colton Ryan


Colton Lee Ryan, 6 months, 15 days old, of Baker City, died May 21, 2009, in Baker City.

His funeral will be Thursday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, with Pastor Monte Loyd of the Harvest Church officiating. Vault interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City. A reception will follow at the Harvest Church, 3720 Birch St.

Colton was born Nov. 6, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Services in Baker City. His mother is Melissa Catie Ryan of Baker City. He had many playmates his age, and his uncles were a big part of his life.  He loved his buddy Skyler’s jumping toy. Colton had the happiest personality and made many people around him happy as well. He was loved by many.  He had just began to say “mamma.”

Colton is survived by his mother, Melissa of Baker City; grandmother, Lori Hall of Baker City; grandfather, Dan Ryan of Portland; aunt, Michelle Ryan of Portland; uncles, William and Wyatt Pifher of Baker City; his father, Alexander Schwarz of Ontario; and his great-grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Mike LeSeur, and his grandfather, Paul Schwarz.

Memorial contributions may be made to Colton’s funeral fund at Sterling Bank.
