Cynthia Johnson

Medford, 1952-2013

Cynthia K. Henry Johnson, 60, of Medford, died April 21, 2013, Medford.

Her memorial service was April 25 with burial at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1952, at Medford. She suffered with sarcoidosis for many years and then developed congestive heart failure.

Cindy graduated from Baker City High and joined the U.S. Army soon afterward, serving mostly in Korea and Arizona.

She was a graduate of Southern Oregon University at Ashland. She worked for many years at the Veterans Domiciliary at White City until her health forced her to retire.

Cindy was very involved in volunteer work and she loved to make jewelry and to travel. She took several cruises and enjoyed them so much. She was always thinking of others and was quite a gift giver. 

Survivors include her son, Eli, daughter-in-law, Jessi, and grandchildren, Dominic and Lillian; brother, Kevin Henry of Medford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, one nephew and her many friends who she treated like family  

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim; her mother, Carolyn; sister, Teresa; and brother, Mike.
