Alice Parker
Alice Arlene Parker,74, died Nov. 11, 2011, at Boise.
Interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Alice was born on Aug. 13, 1937, at Spokane, Wash., and spent her early years at Durkee. She later moved to the Portland area, where her mother, Elva, was employed.

Upon retirement, Elva relocated to Baker City, where she and Alice lived for many years. Alice was a resident at Settler’s Park after her mother’s death and then relocated to Boise in 2004 for medical reasons.

Alice was a bright spirit with a ready smile who loved people and social events, her family said. She loved to play bingo and welcomed new experiences.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elva Cundiff; and her father, Harley Parker.

Survivors include numerous cousins and second cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation through Tami’s Pine Valley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 543, Halfway, OR 97834.
