‘Lynn’ Jones Loris “Lynn” Jones, 63, of Klamath Falls, and a former Baker City resident, died Oct. 3, 2011, at Klamath Falls. His funeral was Oct. 18 in Klamath Falls. Disposition was by cremation. Lynn was born in Baker City to Charles and Margeret Gilkison Jones of North Powder. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles of Modesto, Calif., and Glen of Bremerton, Wash.; and his parents, Charles and Margaret Jones of North Powder. Lynn is survived by three brothers: Edward, James and Ralph Jones; and a sister, Phyllis Ramey. Edward Jones Edward Jackson Jones, 79, died Oct. 7, 2011, at his home in Haines. Ed was born on Aug. 9, 1932, at Baker City to Charles and Margaret Gilkison Jones. He lived in and was schooled in North Powder until joining the U.S. Navy, which he served for five years. Ed married Jackie Brockman in 1952. They had four children. He later married Janis Marlene Davis and resided in Haines. They had no children. Ed was an insulator and he also worked as a construction operator. He was an avid fisherman, camper and hunter. Thief Valley Reservoir was his choice fishing spot. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Charles of Modesto, Calif., Glen of Bremerton, Wash., and Lynn of Klamath Falls. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Ramey and her husband, Harce, of Grover City, Calif.; brothers: James and his wife, Beverly, of Haines, and Ralph and his wife, Evelyn, of Missouri; a son, Troy, of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters: Tracy and her husband, Mario, of Cleveland, Tenn., Trudy Hall of Pelzer, N.C., and Tamey, of Attica, Wis. |
