Alexandra Mix

Alexandra Dawn Mix, 19 days old, died Dec. 18, 2009, at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.

Heritage Funeral home in Spokane will handle cremation. There will be memorial service in the summer.

A premature birth, Alexandra weighed one pound, four ounces at birth and one pound, eight ounces at passing.

During her short life hospital staff constantly commented on what a fighter she was. She loved to lay on her tummy and hear her mommy and daddy’s voices.

She also had ticklish feet, her mom said.

Alexandra is survived by her parents, Desiree Funderburk and Anthony Mix; grandparents, John and Tami Smith; grandmother, Pauline Mix; and great-grandparents, Judy and Floyd Holm, all of Spokane, Wash.; great-grandparents, Mike and Therese Funderburk and Jim and Deanna Grimes of Eugene, and Doyle and Lynette Perry of Baker City, as well as many aunts and uncles.

Alexandra was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dawn Funderburk.
