Anderson earns two first-place wins at Baker Relay

Weston Anderson earned both firsts. Anderson won the boys discus with a toss of 123 feet, 2 inches. He then won the shot with a throw of 45 feet, 2 inches. Both marks were large personal bests.

Jake Eastland had two of the second-place finishes. Eastland tied for second in the boys pole vault with a mark of 12 feet, 6 inches. Eastland also placed second in the javelin with a toss of 165 feet.

Baker’s boys 800 sprint medley relay also finished second with a time of 1:43.59.

Haley Adams earned two seconds for the Baker girls. Adams placed second in the pole vault with a mark of 7 feet, 6 inches. She also was second in the javelin with a toss of 113 feet, 2 inches.

Baker’s girls distance medley relay team earned the other second with a time of 15:21.83.

Powder Valley’s Ali Abrego won the girls high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 8 inches.

The Badgers’ Trenton Dixon was second in the boys triple jump with a leap of 40 feet, 3 inches.

Baker and Powder Valley both travel to La Grande Friday for the La Grande Invitational.
