Baker alumni games set

The Baker boys basketball team will host a pair of alumni games Dec. 22 honoring Joel Cummings, a BHS graduate who died in November while awaiting a double lung transplant.

Baker coach Craig Woods said the games will start at 6 p.m. with a special presentation honoring Cummings between games.

A meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. Dec. 21 for those alumni wanting to play against the Baker varsity. Old uniforms will be handed out for the game and try and put together a roster.

Those alumni players who can’t make that meeting will play in the other game which will be between two alumni teams.

Woods said several alumni have expressed an interest in playing in the games. He asks that if they still intend to play that they call him at BHS at 524-2620.

Former players signed up to play are Mitch Osborn, Ty Nichols, Joe Sullivan, Barry Spooner, Tyson Baxter, Logan Berglund, Dave Mullins, Matt Duman, Matt Bunch, Mark Bunch, Mitch Grove, Casey Grove, Eric Nichols, Tyler Mack, Clint Curtis, Lowell Curtis, Luke Sells, Loren Joseph, Wade Joseph, Trent Berglund and Justin Grigg.
