Baker girls await next opponent

Baker’s Greater Oregon League champion girls basketball team will have to wait until Wednesday to find out who they will play in the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs.

Yamhill-Carlton (15-10) travels to Marist (15-9) Wednesday to earn the right to play the Bulldogs (15-8).

The second round game will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday in between sessions at the Class 1A tournament at BHS. Spectator admission is $6 adults and $4 students.
