Baker girls lose at Pendleton

Baker fell too far behind early Tuesday and dropped a nonleague girls basketball game to Pendleton 59-29 at Pendleton.

“We came out slow in the first half,” said Baker coach Tim Smith.

“We dug ourselves a pretty big hole. We just weren’t ready to go.”

Baker trailed 22-4 after one period, and 33-13 at halftime.

Ashley Trees led Baker with nine points.
