Baker girls win GOL track title

ONTARIO — The Baker girls won the Greater Oregon League district track and field championship May 16 at Ontario High School. The Bulldogs finished with 82 points, 14 ahead of La Grande. A dozen Baker track and field athletes qualified for the Class 4A state meet by placing first or second in their events. The Baker boys finished third in their half of the district meet with 37 points. La Grande won the GOL title with 105 points.
