Baker held its own among 2,800 cross country runners Saturday at the annual Seaside Three Course Challenge. “There were 95 teams and 2,800 runners,” said Baker coach Tish Bloomer. “It was quite an experience fro everybody, including me. It was awesome.” Jake Payton finished eighth on the easy course in a time of 19:10. Trevor Freese took fourth in the intermediate course with a 22:41 clocking. “Both those guys are coming home with medals,” Bloomer said.
