Baker rodeo preview

Baker will field a young rodeo club team this spring, including seven freshmen. Junior Dylon Glock is club president, and will compete in saddle bronc. Glock advanced to the Silver States rodeo last spring. Nick Xeros is vice president and will compete in roping eventns. Junior Johnny Owens, another Silver States competitor, returns in bull riding. Sophomore Kristina Huskey competes in barrels and roping. The freshmen are James Heitz (bareback), Dusty Glock (roping), Collin Jones (saddle bronc), Wyatt Duncan (bulls), Wyatt Cook (saddle bronc), Courtney Raley (roping), and Dulcie Nelson (roping). The team’s new advisors are Brandon and Mandy Clark. The Clarks live in Keating. Brandon rides saddle bronc and stock saddle in the ICA rodeo circuit. The Clarks also have a small stock contracting business for bucking horses and rope horses. |
