Baker swimmers end season

GRESHAM — Baker’s high school swimming season came to an end Friday at the preliminaries of the Class 4A/3A/2A/1A state meet at Mount Hood Community College.

None of the Bulldogs placed higher than ninth in the prelims and did not advance to Saturday’s finals.

Charlotte Bowers finished ninth in the 100 freestyle (58.96) and 200 freestyle (2:10.17).

Baker’s 400 freestyle relay of Jasmine Fillebrown, Courtney Raley, Sierra Howerton and Bowers also placed ninth (4:11.32).

Baker’s 200 freestyle relay of Raley, Howerton, Taylor Ellis and Bowers placed 10th (1:53.93).

Raley placed 12th in the 50 frestyle (28.12).
