Baker thinclads open at Pendleton

No team scores were kept. Teams used the meet to see what they have in various events and get a chance to see their new younger competitors.

Walker Kaseberg led the Baker boys by placing third in the high jump (5 feet, 10 inches) and fifth in the 400 (55.56).

Jake Sandefur was sixth in the 400 (56.06) and the triple jump (38 feet, 3.5 inches), and Skyler Young sixth in the 800 (2:16.05). Baker’s 4x100 relay team of Rowdy LaMiller, Taylor Thamert, Luke Austin and Kasey Knaus placed second with a time of 47.82. The Bulldogs’ 4x400 relay of Kaseberg, Thamert, Young and Snadefur was fourth at 3:46.35.

Whitney Phillips, Melissa Clarke and Hannah Prince led the Baker girls.

Phillips was fourth in the 200 (29.04). Clarke was fifth in the 3,000 (12:39.15) and eighth in the 1,500 (5:36.73). Prince was sixth in the 200 (29.49) and eighth in the 100 (14.25).

Baker’s 4x100 relay of Dakota Olson, Cassie Reeder, Phillips and Prin ce placed eighth in a time of 57.01. The Bulldogs’ 4x400 relay of Olson, Phillips, Felicia Schneider and Kelsie Cole was eighth in a time of 4:48.54.
