Blankenship, Harlow honored

Baker’s keyestone combination at second base and shortstop shared Greater Oregon League player of the year honors recently when the league coaches voted on all-league selections. Shortstop Derek Blankenship and second baseman Jordan Harlow shared the top player honor. Both also were named to the GOL first team as infielders. Baker coach Dan Blankenship was named GOL Coach of the Year. Four other Bulldogs were named to the first team, one to the second team, and one receiving honorable mention. Joining Blankenship and Harlow on the first team were pitcher Cole Brown, catcher Grant Marcum, utility player Dekker Smith and center fielder Trace Richardson. Named to the second team was infielder Ty Everson. Receiving honorable mention was outfielder Jon Woolard. |
