Bulldogs baseball season over

Baker's high school baseball season is over.

Ridgeview slugged three home runs Friday to hand the Bulldogs a 6-3 defeat in the Class 4A state quarterfinals at the Baker Sports Complex.

Ridgeview scored three single runs in the first, third and sixth innings to ake a 3-0 lead.

Baker answered with a two-run home run by Stephen Schott in the bottom of the sixth to pull within 3-2.

But Ridgeview scored three runs, two on home runs, in the top of the seventh to put the game away.

Baker's final run of the season was a solo homer by Mason Cline in the bottom of the seventh.

Baker finished its season 19-9.
