Bulldogs sixth at Baker Invite

Baker closed out its boys golf regular season Wednesday by placing sixth at the annual Baker Invitational at Quail Ridge Golf Course. The Bulldogs shot a score of 351. Hermiston won the team championship shooting a 311. La Grande was second at 336. Baker’s junior varsity finished 10th with a score of 437. Dru Simonski-Davis shot an 80 to lead the Bulldogs. Adam Lehman shot 85, Parker Warner 98, Luke Beuhler 100 and Dillon Delong 113. Kevin Fraser topped the Baker JV with a 99. Jarrod Maxwell shot 103, Joe Black 108, Austin Villalobos 123, Andrew Livingston 127, Alex Chaves 139 and Lee Savage 151. The next action for both the Baker boys and girls will be district play Monday and Tuesday at Wildhorse Country Club in Pendleton. The Baker boys will compete in the Greater Oregon League tournament teeing off at 9 a.m. both days. The Baker girls will play in the Special District 7 Class 4A/3A/2A/1A tournament also teeing off at 9 a.m. both days. The top two teams and the next three individuals in both tournaments advance to the state tournaments the following Monday and Tuesday. |
