Country Christian wins

Top-ranked Country Christian edged Imbler 49-41 in the opening quarterfinal game at the Class 1A state boys basketball tournament Thursday.

Country Christian advances to Friday's semifinals to play the winner of Thursday's Horizon Christian-Triad game at 8:15 p.m.

Imbler will play the loser of the Horizon Christian-Triad game in consolation action at 9 a.m. Thursday.
