Powder Valley pounded the ball inside early, building a 6-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game.

“The girls are all playing well,” Gyllenberg said. “I’m pleased with the way they’re moving the ball.”

Pedro was the main beneficiary of the early spurt, scoring four of her 18 points in that stretch.
