Harvest Christian tops Falcons

Harvest Christian Academy had a big weekend when it traveled to Ontario Friday to play the Champ Falcons.

The Harvest Christian boys won 65-26. Will Godes led the Knights with 16 points. Braden Phillips added 15, Jeff Hurst 14, Alex Turner 13, Josh Hurst and Josh Rodli each two, and Thomas Svitak one.

On Saturday the boys and girls junior varsity teams each had a tournament in Marsing Idaho. The boys took first in their tournament. Overall, Josh Hurst scored 22 points, Matt Vangaasbeck 19, Taran Moothart 11, Jaden Turner 10, Braden Phillips and Josh Rodli each eight.

The girls placed second. Cassie Davault led the way with 13 points followed by Whitney Lemmon with 11, Kadie Dobbel five, Hayley Lemmon four, and Elya Christman two.

The next game for the Knights is at home today against the Champ Falcons.
