Maszk wins title at Mac-Hi Gutbuster


MILTON-FREEWATER — Baker’s Nic Maszk won the boys individual championship at the annual Mac-Hi Gutbuster cross country race Friday.

Maszk won the race in a time of 17:06.76.

Evan Krohn was seventh (18:23.58), Connor Yates 16th (19:17.66), Ian Krohn 18th (19:19.54), Nate Baeth 22nd (19:27.84), Cody Gyllenberg 25th (19:49.0), Collin Hessel 32nd (20:08.84), Micah Grammon 37th (20:28.84), Franklin Bowers 47th (20:55.23), Tyler Gassin 53rd (21:19.72), Levi Farber 62nd (22:37.22), and Nick Anderson 64th (22:52.27).

Sarah Spaugh was Baker’s top girls finisher, placing 18th in a time of 24:29.21.

Katie Sandefur was 25th (26:00.86), Kim Pettit 28th (26:36.76), Madeline Owen 34th (27:52.22) and Anna Payton 43rd (31:38.9).

Baker will host its only home meet Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Quail Ridge Golf Course.
